Wellington Psychological Associates
Wellington Psychological Associates was first established in 1982 with the aim of providing a high quality and comprehensive clinical psychology service to the Wellington Community. This inner city practice of six very experienced, well regarded members of the clinical psychology profession strives to maintain the highest possible standards of practice and confidentiality. All are clinically trained with at least 20 years experience in the private and public sectors.
All our clinicians are heavily booked and currently have waitlists. If you have been seen before by one of our psychologists or have been referred directly by a specialist and wish to be seen please contact reception on info@welpa.co.nz to enquire about making an appointment. If you have a general enquiry please email and we can advise of the availability of our individual clinicians.
Our Practice
The six Clinical Psychologists at Wellington Psychological Associates are registered under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 and members of the professional body of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists. Ongoing education and professional development is a cornerstone of our practice.
Uniquely in the Wellington region, the skill mix and areas of expertise of our clinician's allows us to offer not only individual therapy for adults, but also assessment and treatment for children and older adolescents. Online/telehealth appointments can be made by arrangement.
